Sony Xperia ZL is the brother flagship smartphone of Xperia ZL. It was launched along with Xperia ZL, having same hardware inside but different looks on the outside. Another difference was the position of front-facing camera. It was placed below screen, at the botton of mobile. The reason behind it is that during video calls, people concentrate more on their own picture and looking at it makes you look like like looking away. How well it works, is yet unknown!
Sony has rolled out Android 4.3 update for number of its smartphones. One of the lucky recipients is Xperia ZL. Those who have updated their devices already, must want to gain root access on it as well now! Those who have not yet updated to Android 4.3 firmware 569, should follow the link given below.
After updating to Android 4.3 firmware on Xperia ZL, you can move on. To root your Xperia ZL, first of all you will need a custom based recovery. We have chosen CWM custom recovery.

What are the advantages of CWM Recovery:

Lot of customization:

With CWM installed on your device, you can easily modify your device by flashing proper packages built by Android developers. Such customization included custom ROMs and custom Mods. Custom ROMs are built to replace stock or official Android software installed on your device. Custom ROMs add extra functionality to your device. Most of custom ROMs are built to increase speed and performance of Android device. Custom ROMs like CyanogenMod are build so that you can experience stock Android and blot-free software. All manufacturers load their Android devices with lot of their own apps and features. One clear example is Samsung. Any user can get rid of these apps by installing an appropriate custom ROM.
Custom Mods are small packages which modify a particular portion of your device’s software. Some Mods are available to modify notification bar and battery percentage styles. Some other modify home launchers, themes, transition animations and much more. There is no possible limit to modification once you have rooted and installed custom recovery on your device.

Lot of useful options:

CWM Recovery has been equipped with lots of useful options. The most used option must be the Factory reset option. It comes in handy when you are flashing a custom ROM or you are stuck in a bootloop. Being stuck in a bootloop is nothing serious. It happens very often. You can get out of the loop simply by performing a factory reset from CWM Recovery. Other useful features include option to wipe Dalvik Cache, Wipe battery stats and Wipe Cache partition. You can also connect your device’s internal or external card to PC via CWM recovery.
There is lot more to discover and you will do so only after installing this recovery on our lovely device.
